The power of garlic allicin without the unwelcome aromatics!
The history of garlic's use goes back thousands of years and continues to the present. It was used as a natural remedy in ancient China around 2700 B.C. and spread to other parts of the world by the Sumerians. Over three thousand years later, garlic was still used by physicians in the Middle Ages. It has been called plant talisman, rustic's theriac (or Heal All), and even Russian penicillin!
Today, garlic is suggested by some for cancer prevention, heart attack prevention, and as an antimicrobial agent. [The links will suggest some reading sources.]
Each bottle has 30 vegetarian capsules. Each capsule contains

Allicin was first isolated from garlic in 1944 by Cavillito and Bailey while investigating plant extracts for antibacterial activity. It is one of the compounds in garlic thought to be antimicrobial in nature.
There is an entire website with publicly available material on allicin. The scientist who developed the method to stabilize allicin, Dr. Peter Josling, has written a book entitled Allicin and Vitamin C (pdf file). A couple of YouTube videos of Dr. Josling discussing garlic allicin are found below.
Alli-C is a product of the United Kingdom. (Allicin-C was renamed Alli-C. It is the same product.)
