Sandbilder® Screenie fits particularly well into modern settings - perhaps near to your computer. It can be rotated in increments of 90°, allowing you to view either a wide or narrow version.

Since Screenie is made of molded and crystal clear acrylics there is less chance breakage than the original glass Sandbilders.

Don't settle for look alikes. Screenie is hand-crafted in Austria by artist, Klaus Boesch. And, as an original Sandbilder® it includes a mechanism to increase or decrease the liquid volume giving you full control over the rate of sandflow.

How does a Sandbilder® create new, kinetic images? Each time the picture is rotated, bubbles of air fly upward, creating a horizontal "wall" and trapping the falling sand. As the grains of sand slip between the air bubbles, mountains, valleys and other unique landscapes appear.
