Text on the back of card.
The Hourglass Nebula is the result of a dying star that collapsed and ejected much of its gases into the thin "bipolar" shell that we see in this photo. Celestial objects such as this are called planetary nebulae. There are thousands of them found throughout our galaxy.
This remarkable photo was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. The oval object in the center was recorded with breathtaking clarity for an object 8,000 light years away. Some call this feature the "Eye of G-d".
The card is in an individual bag to keep it clean. It is untouched until you open it.
