Small Moon Globe $13.75

Two rotational axes.

This small lunar globe has two rotation axes, allowing for smooth motion as depicted in the figure to the left.

With a diameter measuring just 4 3/8" (11 cm) it won't crowd your desk. Still, quality and attention were not compromised in making a globe this size

Superb detailing is found on this little globe with craters, seas, and mountain ranges clearly labelled. As shown below, unmanned and manned lunar landing locations are also marked with the mission, date, and sponsoring country.

The side of the moon that is visible from Earth is clearly defined on the moon globe. So, go ahead and gaze at the "back side" of the moon!

These lower photos show two of the marked lunar landing sites taken from the moon globe. To the left is the location of the first unmanned lunar landing by the U.S.S.R. Lunik 2 on September 13, 1959. The picture on the right shows the first manned moon landing site of Apollo 11 on July 20, 1969.
