Leave the internal light off and pick out specific stars. The semi-meridian is black smoke.

Turn on the light and more than seventy illuminated constellations appear in stunning color. The globe is a lot prettier than the photograph on the left.

The light is powered by standard (U.S.) 110/120 AC household current.

Dimensions: 12 inch (30.5 cm) globe diameter, 13" (33 cm) wide, 16" (40.6 cm) high.
