Slips into your pocket!

Our mini pop-pop or putt-putt boat is perfect for walks to the park. This type of boat is named for the popping or putting sound of its small steam engine. For information on how the steam engine (flash boiler) works click here. An html version of our steam engine cycle tutorial is found here.

A package of accessories included with each boat contains a bulb water primer, fuel holder, and a fuel candle. Additional candles may be purchased.

Not a young child's toy! Some edges may be sharp and, of course, an open flame is required to run the steam engine. These boats should be suited for most 13 years old and up, younger with a guardian "shipmate."

Assorted colors. (Colors in this shipment are dark blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, and black.)
