For the person who wants to carry their sundial in a pocket! Rather than using a shadow, the Saturn sundial operates by refracting an image of the sun onto the hour dial.

The Saturn Keychain is hand-crafted in pewter and comes with your choice of a colored or clear (turquoise is shown) central bead on a metal alloy key chain. Dimensions: 1.25 inches/3.2 cm in diameter. Accompanied by instructions. The person who has everything probably does not have this!

Place the sundial on a flat, horizontal surface, tipped so that the XII mark is dipping down to touch the surface. The imprinted S at the top of the dial should be aligned toward the south. The image of the sun refracting through the glass bead onto the hour dial now marks the time. (Remember to add 1 hour during daylight savings time - if you have it.)
