The Term "Flash Boiler"

The engine cycle is complete. A new cycle starts with heating the water.
At first the cycles occur slowly. Over time, the engine cycle rate increases
as the boiler pan is constantly heated.
Once the engine has warmed up the cycle time becomes relatively constant. During this
phase, the boiler pan is so hot that back filled water boilers as it reaches the pan.
Hence, the term "flash boiler."
